I was happy to make it to Washington DC for a little sliver of TRB earlier this month, and delighted to cosponsor a happy hour for our good friends at the Parking Reform Network. I think it’s fair to say the event was a smashing success. We completely packed the patio at Calico, a hip joint in Mount Vernon Square with an excellent repertoire of house cocktails.

As I continue to build a presence on the east coast, I’m somewhat surprised by how far we lag our left coast compatriots on some of the key pieces of parking management, despite having better transit and urban bones generally. So here’s hoping events like this help spread the word!
