Winter Workshop Recap: Highlights and Reflections

We are belated in posting in appreciation, but Studio Davis was thrilled to be part of February’s Winter Workshop hosted by Oregon ITE. Our founder, Brian Davis, was selected to speak about the recent parking plans we developed for Yachats and Forest Grove, OR. During the talk, we shared some basic strategies, tools in our toolkit, and lessons learned from these projects.

But the Winter Workshop wasn’t just about sharing our own experiences. We were also inspired by the innovative work our peers are doing, and enjoyed connecting with old colleagues from Portland State and Lancaster Mobley. We were particularly impressed by the student presentations, and how much we enjoyed hearing from these rising professionals. It was a great opportunity to learn from each other, and to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and challenges in the transportation planning industry.

At Studio Davis, we’re passionate about staying involved in the transportation planning community, and the Winter Workshop was a perfect example of why. It’s events like these that help us stay connected with our peers, learn from each other, and ultimately, provide better service to our clients. Okay and maybe, just maybe, we’ll admit to being thrilled to enjoy Portland’s *amazing* Winter Light Festival after the event.

Thank you to Oregon ITE for hosting this wonderful event, and to all the attendees who made it such a success. We look forward to continuing to be an active member of the transportation planning community, and to sharing our experiences and insights with our peers in the future.
